Fashion yarns, spun differently and sustainably.
Long Run is a differentiated, sustainable fashion-yarn specialist in Shandong, China. Siro compact and Sirofil-compact spinning turn cashmere, silk, TENCEL™ and recycled fibres into yarns with unique performance — plus trend guidance for the brands and mills we supply.
A yarn service provider, not just a spinner.
Long Run positions itself as a differentiated and sustainable fashion yarn professional service provider. Using digital tools, it explores and enhances the functional properties of differentiated yarns while meeting customers' demand for sustainability.
Beyond the yarn itself, Long Run offers creative planning and trend guidance to industry-chain partners, helping them innovate and upgrade their products.

Four yarn systems, each with one clear promise.
Choose by the feeling your fabric needs — softness, strength, coolness or a lower footprint. Every series can be combined with compact-soft spinning.
Sirofil-compact: smoother than Siro, tighter than filament-covered yarn.
Long Run's compact-soft spinning merges Siro compact spinning with staple-filament covered yarn. About 30,000 spindles run it today — the hero animation above shows the principle.
Two rovings, drafted
As in Siro spinning, two rovings are drafted side by side at a set distance between the rollers.
A filament joins at the front jaw
One roving is replaced by a filament fed from the front roller jaw, keeping its distance from the staple strand until both are twisted together.
Condensed, then twisted
An added fibre-strand aggregation zone condenses the fibres before the twist, so the yarn comes out smoother and more compact.
- Good shape retention
- Flexibility & abrasion resistance
- Comfort & breathability
- Anti-snagging
- Smooth surface with lustre
- Anti-shedding
- Anti-pilling
- Fabric mechanical stretch

Straight answers drawn from Long Run's own published information.
What does Long Run Textile produce?
Long Run Textile (Shandong Lianrun New Material Technology Co., Ltd.) is a differentiated and sustainable fashion yarn specialist. It runs two segments — white (raw-white) yarn and melange (colour-spun) yarn — organised into four ECO series: ECOSOFT®, ECOSTRONG, ECOFREE and ECOFUSHION. The yarns are used in knitted underwear, outdoor leisure wear, shoe materials and outdoor protection.
What is Sirofil-compact spinning and why does it matter?
Sirofil-compact (compact-soft) spinning combines Siro compact spinning with staple-filament covered yarn: a filament is fed at the front roller jaw alongside two rovings, and an added fibre-strand aggregation zone condenses the fibres before twisting. Compared with ordinary staple-filament composite yarns, the result is smoother and more compact. Long Run lists benefits such as shape retention, abrasion resistance, anti-snagging, anti-pilling, low shedding, lustre and mechanical stretch. About 30,000 spindles run this technology.
How large is the mill?
Founded in 2011, Long Run operates 500+ sets of spinning equipment and 180,000 spindles, produces about 20,000 tons of yarn per year and employs around 1,100 people in the Taierzhuang Development Zone, Zaozhuang, Shandong, China.
Which certifications does Long Run hold?
Eight in total, as listed on the company's qualification page: management system certification, BCI (Better Cotton Initiative), RCS (Recycled Claim Standard), OEKO-TEX, a sustainable certification, OCS (Organic Content Standard), RWS (Responsible Wool Standard) and GRS (Global Recycled Standard).
Which fibres can be blended into Long Run yarns?
Published options include wool, cashmere, mulberry silk, seaweed fibre, flax, TENCEL™ Lyocell, Modal, Naia™, CIRCULOSE®, Ecovero™, organic fibres, recycled polyester, recycled nylon and dope-dyed fibres, plus functional sun-protection, cool-feel and moisture-wicking fibres.
What equipment and testing does the mill use?
Trützschler blowing and carding units (Germany), Rieter combers and drawing frames with auto-leveller (Switzerland), Lakshmi spinning frames (India), Savio automatic winders (Italy), a Luwa automatic air-conditioning system and an Uster yarn testing system (Switzerland).
Where is Long Run located and does it have sales offices?
Headquarters and mill: Middle of Taizhong Road, Taierzhuang Development Zone, Zaozhuang City, Shandong 277400, China. Regional offices serve Guangdong & Fujian and Zhejiang & Shanghai; export business has a dedicated contact.
